Online Membership Process

To join online go to https://kofc.org/joinus and complete the Online Membership Application Form.
Click here for a copy of the application

A few points with regards to completing the application form:
1. Former members can rejoin as online members and can indicate that on the application form
(number of the former council).
2. A new online member can indicate a preferred council he wishes to join (enter the council number)
and he will appear on that council's Prospect Tab found on Officers Online (Grand Knight and Financial Secretary).
3. A new online member can indicate who is proposer is (enter proposer's membership number).

After the application has been submitted, Ontario State and the General Agents will be emailed a copy so as to
allow for them to contact the new online member in a timely manner.

All online members are initially considered members of the State Council (Council 98055), however they fall into one
of 2 categories, assigned or unassigned. Click here for moe details.

An Assigned online member has indicated on his application form the council he would like to join, and his name will
appear on the council's Prospect tab which allows for the council to reach out to him and invite him to become a
council member by taking the Charity, Unity and Fraternity Degree.

An Unassigned online member has not indicated a preferred council on his application form. The Unassigned members'
list is only visible to the State Council, that in turn will try to assign the member to a council based on his parish and
address. Once assigned he will appear on that council's Prospect tab.

An online member has the option to remain an online member with State (Council 98055) or join a council by taking the
Charity, Unity and Fraternity Degree.

Once an online member decides to become a council member, the council can use the Prospect tab, the Online Form 100 (Officers Online – Candidate Tab), the Fillable PDF Form 100 (Click here for a copy) or the Paper Form 100 to inform
Supreme to add him to the council's roster after having taken the Charity, Unity and Fraternity Degree.

Please note that the Council must vote on accepting the candidate’s application. During the pandemic this can be done by
email or virtually (e.g. Zoom Meeting). Click here for details. Once the candidate has been approved to join the Council,
he can now be scheduled to attend an Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternity.

For a former member, the Council has to simply complete and submit a signed Form 100 to Supreme or complete the
Online Form 100. If you have difficulty obtaining the necessary signatures for the Form 100 please Click Here for the steps
to follow
.

Exemplifications can be On Demand or Video and are available in three languages (English, French and Spanish). State
Council conducts a live Exemplification in English on the last Thursday of the month.
