His Worship John Henry the Mayor of The City of Oshawa saying a few words
before the flag is raised. A nice bright day no wind.

MONDAY DECEMBER 14, 2015

This afternoon the Flag went to St. Kateri Tekakwitha School in Oshawa,
along with our host Council 1926 St. Gertrude's and members of the
4th Degree from Msgr. Bench Assembly 0878 and members of the S. K.
Leonard T. Smith Squires Circle 4782, who are students at the school.
There we attended the school Mass. Before the Mass the Principal
Mrs. R. Lucia Goodwin, signed the flag on behalf of the school
and we had a Question and Answer seesion with the students
about Special Olympics and the Knights.

MONDAY DECEMBER 14, 2015

This afternoon the Flag went to St. John Bosco School in Oshawa,
along with our host Council 1926 St. Gertrude's and members of the
4th Degree from Msgr. Bench Assembly 0878. There the Principal
Ms. M. Lantaigne signed the flag on behalf of the school with
some of her very special students in attendance some did not wish
to be in the photo but stood by to watch

squires from Circle #4742. St. Gertrude’s Council #1926. Grand Knight of Council #9989 signing flag with the squires. Both Council 9989 and circle 4742 ran a bottle drive and raised $500 for Special Olympics.

TUESDAY JANUARY 5, 2016

Today at Sir Albert Love School, the principle Mr. Chris
Szent-Ivany signed the flag with students and members of the Knights of Columbus Council 1926 in attendance.

At Sir Albert Love School we had Garry MacLean from Special
Olympics Ontario put on a presentation for the whole school. Along
with him was Theresa-Rose Camposeo with her medals that she won for figure skating. Theresa gave a little talk about how she likes Special Olympics then she signed the flag and Garry did the same.
